Bicycle fitting at Outdoor Action Company is the heart of our store - period.

 

Every rider that swings her or his leg over a top tube can benefit from an OAC fitting. OAC fittings are ALL ABOUT YOU. We address the seven key components of cycling in every fit and give you straight forward advise, based on you and our experience from thousands of fittings. The OAC process is based on your body's unique symmetry, range of motion, prior injuries and the attributes that we discover in our complete interview / physical evaluation session that is included with every fit. Only after we get a great "blueprint" of you, off the bike do we get you on our state-of-the-art fit bike and start positioning. The OAC process is not based around a bike brands training to sell more of their bikes, shoes, saddles or footbeds. In fact we prefer to start a new bike decision without a bike in mind until we have pulled your best position off from the fit bike. FIST certified, Signature believer, SICI Advanced practitioner, presenter of many fitting clinics, bike fitting specific motion analysis software consultant, top 10 nationally ranked fitter - these are some of the titles and certifications of the OAC fit studio and staff.

 

Here are the important things to know about the OAC fitting process

 

  • OAC fittings are by appointment - your time is valuable and all fits are one-on-one with no interruptions.
  • Everyone should be able to enjoy riding a bicycle, pain free!
  • "Fit First" based on the athletes body - everyone is unique.
  • No compromises - we take any amount of time necessary to address you fitting.
  • Common Sense Based Approach (we have heard some crazy stories about past fit experiences based in Black Magic or something like it)
  • Fit for now AND the future.
  • OAC does not practice "Quick Fits"

OAC guarantees every fit we perform. If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied after one of our fittings, we will happily get you back into the fit studio and take care of any issues. Some of our athletes that we fit have never been on the type of bike that they are being fit for, so that would be a great example of someone who would come back in after a couple of months riding their new bike for some "tweaks".

  • Our fitting take from 2 to 2.5 hours
  • You will walk away with a CAD drawing and notations of your position
  • We will explain all aspects of your fit and positioning for multiple bike set-up
  • We will help you set up your bike to your new position
  • Positional videos available on request
  • Positional snap shots available on request
  • $250.00
  • $100.00 application credit towards new bicycle purchased from OAC within 1 year

Ski boot fitting is just as important at OAC as bike fitting. We have spent thousands of hours on the hill and know how to get you the performance and comfort that you need. We offer boots from manufactures that offer great fits and the right performance. In fact, just like bikes we even offer custom ski boots from Daleboot.

We have helped many skiers get the most out of their ski days with custom Intuition liners. 100% heat moldable with closed cell foam for warmth and function. Intuition liners are what your feet have been waiting for. We can retrofit ANY ski boot with Intuition liners.
